CaseHug + Clio Manage Integration Guide

1. Overview

The CaseHug–Clio integration connects your legal client intake workflow with Clio Manage, eliminating manual data entry. When a client completes intake through CaseHug, their contact information, matter details, and approved documents sync directly to Clio.

What Syncs

Navigate to Settings β†’ Integrations in your CaseHug dashboard.

Click "Connect to Clio" on the Clio Manage card.

Sign in to Clio and authorize CaseHug. Permissions requested: Matters (read/write), Contacts (read/write), Documents (read/write).

Verify the connection β€” the Clio card shows "Connected" with your account info.

Configure field mappings (optional) β€” map CaseHug case types to Clio practice areas.

Enable auto-sync β€” toggle "Auto-sync on approval" to push data automatically.

Test with a manual sync β€” open any matter, click "Sync to Clio", verify in Clio.
