CaseHug + Lawmatics Integration Guide

1. Overview

The CaseHug–Lawmatics integration connects your legal client intake workflow with Lawmatics CRM, eliminating manual data entry and enabling automated campaign triggers. When a client completes intake through CaseHug, their contact information and matter details sync directly to Lawmatics.

2. Prerequisites

Important: Developer settings are not enabled by default in Lawmatics. You must contact support@lawmatics.com to enable them before connecting. For API questions, email api@lawmatics.com.

3. Setup Steps

Enable developer settings in Lawmatics by contacting support@lawmatics.com.

Navigate to Settings β†’ Integrations in your CaseHug dashboard.

Click "Connect to Lawmatics" on the Lawmatics card.

Sign in to Lawmatics and authorize CaseHug. Permissions: Contacts (read/write), Matters (read/write), Forms (read), Activities (write).

Verify the connection β€” the Lawmatics card shows "Connected".

Configure pipeline mappings (optional) β€” map CaseHug case types to Lawmatics stages.

Enable auto-sync β€” toggle "Auto-sync on approval" to push data automatically.

Set up Lawmatics automations (optional) β€” trigger campaigns on contact creation or stage changes.

Test with a manual sync β€” open any matter, click "Sync to Lawmatics", verify in Lawmatics.

Duplicate Detection: CaseHug searches Lawmatics contacts by email before creating new ones. If a match is found, the existing contact is linked.
